Coimbatore : P.C. Chacko, Congress National Secretary and Spokesperson was here in the city to meet the District Congress members and brief the media on the sensational 'Rafale deal'.

Briefing the media at the District Congress office here, the senior leader affirmed that the Prime Ministerial candidate will be decided only after the general elections.

He pointed that there is concrete evidence that corruption to the tune of Rs.41, 000 crores has been committed in the shady Rafale deal.

The Centre has furnished false details in the court, which resulted in a favorable verdict, he alleged.

"As proposed by the Congress party, only a Joint Parliamentary probe would bring to light the hidden agenda in the Rafale deal. Supreme Court is the not the place to scrutinise the matter in depth", the Congress Spokesperson added.

"During Congress reign, the nation moved towards growth trajectory. However, PM Modi contradicts it by using his oratory skills to inject lies among the masses", P.C.Chacko said.
